Meet Jeff Chang, author of We Gon' Be Alright: Notes on Race and Resegregation,a collection of powerful essays that take an incisive and wide-ranging look at the recent tragedies and widespread protests that have shaken the country, and the American Book Award winning, Can't Stop, Won't Stop: A History of the Hip-Hop Generation, a cultural and social history of the end of the American century, and a provocative look into the new world that the hip-hop generation created. Jeff is currently the executive director of the Institute for Diversity in the Arts at Stanford.
