For more than 50 years, the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra has provided the opportunity for highly dedicated and accomplished young musicians to learn, rehearse, and perform together at a level that is unparalleled in our region. More than 2,000 of St. Louis's young musicians have been members of the YO since its founding in 1970. These students have gone on to find success in a variety of fields, including the arts, sciences, engineering, and technology.
