Storytelling and books that comfort kids and foster a love of reading

Stories can change lives. Our Pages program uses storytelling to provide comfort and connection to children dealing with trauma. It helps kids cope and rediscover their inherent worth as children of God.

The reading and renewal room at our residential treatment facility in Salina, Kansas, offers a quiet retreat where children can curl up with a good book.
“A Book, A Bag, and A Blanket” provides books, bags, and handmade prayer blankets to children separated from their families through out-of-home placement.
During family visits, our book nooks provide places where parents and children can share stories and engage in positive, enriching activities.
