Grab your purple gear and walking shoes for the 3rd Annual Purple Day® Walk for Epilepsy and Brain Games led by Purple Day Founder Cassidy Megan. After the walk, let the brain games begin in the Rotunda! Local and national organizations will host creative and educational brain games to support persons with epilepsy. There will be prizes, magicians, refreshments and a "Purple Carpet" photo opp, and people all over the world will be joining in by tweeting pictures that will be posted on the Rotunda video wall. Be a part of history and set the Guinness World Record for the Largest Seizure First Aid Training.

Team Prizes:

Family or Youth Team: The top Purple Day for Epilepsy family team will receive a Mall of America Attractions Gift Basket (basket include passes to Nickelodeon Universe, SEALIFE Aquarium, Moose Mountain Adventure Golf and move. Basket if valued at $450)

Corporate Team: The Purple Day for Epilepsy Team that raises the most money will receive a bowling/game night at Sky Deck Lanes.
This prize includes: 2 hours of bowling and shoe rental and 2 hours of arcade game play on more than 50 games for your entire team.

Proceeds: Our mission is to educate the public not to fear people with epilepsy, seizures or brain trauma. All programs run by The Anita Kaufmann Foundation are designed to eliminate stigma and increase awareness of these conditions and their impact on families and entire communities. All proceeds will go towards the support of this mission.

Fees:

Epilepsy Fighter-Adult: $10.00
Our objective is to raise money to support and create programs to educate the public not to fear people with epilepsy. As an Epilepsy Fighter, we encourage you to raise a minimum of $100 by asking your friends and family to support your fundraising efforts.

Epilepsy Fighter Jr.: FREE
Registration is free for children under 18 years of age. Fighter Jr., we encourage you to raise a minimum of $100 by asking your friends and family to support your fundraising efforts.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

As an international epilepsy awareness organization, we always try to provide the very best experience for those who attend our many events. Part of this is ensuring that the activities we plan run smoothly, are fun for everyone who attends and provide a safe environment. Our walk volunteers have attended to this responsibility for the last several years. Your help in managing some specific aspects of the day would be greatly appreciated.
