Ray Irving Memorial Fund

The Ray Irving Memorial Fund is being established in honor of a man who never tired of the game, never stopped pushing himself, and never ever gave up on anyone. Less than one year after being awarded a Lifetime Service Award by New Dorp High School, Raymond Irving passed away on March 1, 2018. A tireless fan of sports – from elementary school to professional – Ray Irving simply loved the game.
In his honor, the Irving Family will use funds raised to continue to support student athletes from New Dorp High School. Chosen by the family and a selected committee, student athletes in need will get the support to continue to pursue their dreams, only if they also never tire of the game, never stop pushing themselves, and never give up on their fellow athletes.
Should you have any questions for the family, or wish to reach out in any way, please do not hesitate to contact us at donate@rayirvingmemorialfund.org.

From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing I do know: that we are here for the sake of each other, above all, for those upon whose smile
and well-being our own happiness depends, and also for the countless unknown souls with whose fate we are connected by a bond of sympathy.
Many times a day I realize how much my own outer and inner life is built upon the labors of others, both living and dead, and how earnestly I must
exert myself in order to give in return as much as I have received and am still receiving.”

-Albert Einstein
