I have been diagnosed with a rare disease called Castleman's Disease. It's a lot like cancer only it attacks your lymph node's. However, it can turn into cancer rather quickly if not treated in some way. I recently underwent a major surgery to remove a Tumor/Lymph node from around my heart. Although it was a success, I can not work and the pain is sometimes unbearable. I would like to do my part to find a cure and It would be great if you could give and also share this so that others may give. You can find more about Castleman's Disease on the Castleman's Disease Collaborative Network website. (www.cdcn.org) CDCN is a great tool of information and I honestly believe that the more informed family and friends become, the closer we can get to raising money for research and finding a cure. There may be many out there who have this disease but are not diagnosed because it is so rare. It is my hope that I become a spokesman for Castleman Disease so that I can spread the word across the world and raise awareness.
