Black Teacher Collaborative is a social entrepreneurship venture with a deep belief that Black teachers have a unique role in cultivating the beauty and genius of Black children.

In Fall 2017, Black Teacher Collaborative launched our inaugural cohort of teachers participating in a three-year fellowship to build their practices specific to achieving higher academic and socioemotional outcomes in Black children. BTC's inaugural cohort includes 50 Black educators serving over 2,000 children in Atlanta, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans.
