Please join us in commemorating the 75th anniversary of the U.S.
Supreme Court decision Korematsu v. United States to remember the
legacy of a national civil rights hero. In 1944, the Supreme Court
ruled against Fred Korematsu, and upheld the government’s unjust
incarceration of Japanese Americans.
We hope you will take part in continuing Fred’s legacy by contributing
a tax-deducible donation. The Korematsu Institute and Advancing
Justice | AAJC are committed to advancing and promoting equality and
human rights for all. Funds raised will be used to strengthen our
roles in educating and being a voice for marginalized communities,
families, and individuals nationwide. This joint fundraiser will run
from December 18, 2019 through January 30, 2020 (Fred Korematsu Day of
Civil Liberties and the Constitution). Together, we can stop
injustices like Japanese American incarceration and today’s attacks on
vulnerable communities from happening again.
